Meet the Team
Hudson Mitchell
Football athlete and student at the University of Calgary with a passion for athletic performance, strength development, and injury prevention. Specializing in strength, speed, and overall performance through sport specific training, I help athletes build strength, improve movement, and perform to their highest ability. My coaching will combine proven training principles with competitive experience to create programs that develop high performers.

I spent five years playing university hockey and training in high-performance environments. After significant injuries forced me to shift the way I trained, I found yoga and Pilates through recovery. What started as rehab quickly became my favourite way to move.
I completed my 200hr RYT with Higher Love Yoga Academy and teach classes focused on building strength, stability, and long-term mobility.
My approach blends athletic foundations with mindful movement, helping you feel strong and capable in your body. I’m currently completing my BSc with the goal of becoming a physiotherapist, so I can help others move through injury and regain strength.

Movement is more than just exercise to me; it’s a celebration of what our bodies can achieve. Over the last 10 years, I’ve evolved from a dedicated fitness enthusiast into a mentor and leader within the Canadian wellness community. From earning the title of Canada’s Push-Up Queen to building Higher Love Yoga Academy, my greatest joy has always been helping students discover their own strength. Whether I’m leading a 200-hour teacher training or a high-energy fitness session, my goal remains the same: to help you move with higher love.
Heidi Hough
I’ve been sharing yoga since 2017, guiding classes with a blend of mindful movement and joyful energy. In 2020, I added barre and mat pilates to bring more core strength, toning, and variety to my classes. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you can move, grow, and feel good in your body.
I live here in Beaumont, love my terriers, and have recently graduated from loving mom to Gigi.
Kristie LeBoeuf
I’m a fully comprehensive Pilates instructor who believes Pilates is for every body and every stage of life. My classes are upbeat, welcoming, and designed to challenge you while still feeling supportive and fun. I’m passionate about helping people grow stronger, move better, and feel more confident in their bodies. Whether you’re new to Pilates or deepening your practice, I love meeting you where you are and guiding you toward your goals with encouragement and intention.
Outside the studio, I love spending time with my husband and two daughters, staying active, and enjoying quality family time. I strive to create a space where everyone feels comfortable, supported, and empowered to move.
Marnie Spoegler
I’ve been a student of yoga for over 25 years and spend my time living and teaching in both Italy and Canada. I’m the resident yoga teacher at Paradiso Pure Living, where I offer daily yoga classes and unique alpine hiking and yoga retreats for international guests throughout the summer and winter seasons. When I’m in Canada, I teach private and public yoga sessions and offer workshops in Somatic Embodiment Yoga.
My experience in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, Somatic, and Restorative yoga allows me to create adaptive, flexible, and creative classes. I bring a sense of playfulness and curiosity to my teaching, making yoga enjoyable and accessible for everyone.
Anna Duchscherer
I’ve trained extensively in many dance genres, with a strong focus on ballet. I trained at the National School of Ballet and at BSSD here in Beaumont. Last summer, I attended the National Ballet Theater for their national training curriculum, and I’ve recently completed my Booty Barre certification.
When I’m not at the barre, I love spending time with my friends and family and traveling.

Yoga isn’t about powering through with constant perfection and high energy every day; everyone’s yoga practice looks different and your practice will look different daily. Sometimes it may look like returning to basics or perhaps slowing down to practice restorative yoga.
By removing judgemental barriers, my classes promote kindness and gratitude for oneself in taking as little or as much as needed. I use simple and concise cues through breath and body movement offering modifications for all levels. I’m here to create a space where everyone feels safe to explore, whether you’re brand new to yoga or deep into your practice. My goal is to support your journey, wherever you’re at.
I’ve personally practiced yoga for over 20 years; my favorite yoga practices are hot flow, mobility flow and YIN, but I quite enjoy hybrid classes such as Hatha/YIN. I love learning new sequences and themes to teach and enjoy instructing Hatha yoga as it is a great foundational practice for all levels.
Maria Lastra
I discovered fitness through Zumba while looking for a workout that actually felt fun. What started as a way to move and build confidence quickly became a passion for dance fitness and helping others feel good in their bodies.
My classes combine high-energy dance cardio with fun Latin-inspired music to help you sweat, build confidence, and enjoy movement in a supportive environment. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, come ready to move, have fun, and leave feeling empowered.
My classes focus on high-energy dance cardio, Latin-inspired movement, confidence through dance, full-body conditioning, and fun, supportive vibes.
Jersey Huska
I’ve spent most of my life on the dance floor, beginning my training at just 3 years old. From hip hop in Beaumont and training with RA Stylez to convention training in L.A., my background also includes contemporary, jazz, and ballet. My lifelong passion for movement naturally led me to pursue Pilates training in the STOTT method through Calgary Pilates.
As a dancer, I understand how important it is to care for and strengthen the body, and Pilates became an essential part of my own journey. I’m passionate about helping others feel strong, confident, and connected through movement, and I’m excited to share that passion in every class I teach.
When I’m not in the studio, you can find me spending time with family and friends or expressing my creativity through nail design with my business, @gelbyjers.
